Coilovers

Coilovers combine the spring and shock absorber in one unit with an adjustable spring perch, so ride height can be set exactly, and on many kits, damping too. They're the usual next step beyond lowering springs.

Used on 11 builds here: the 1991 BMW 525i (E34), BMW 325i Convertible (E30), 1990 Honda CRX Si and 1986 Honda CRX Si and 7 more, mostly in turbo and engine swap work.
