This was the 1990 diving board, metal bumpers, automatic vert that I got from a local board member.

Needless to say, it needed work – exterior, interior, suspension, top, wheels, etc..

A lot of dings, scratches and other evidence of 21 year old topless naughtiness…

We did full plastic bumper conversion, Euro bumper trim, Hella Smoked HID lights, Euro grills, 5 speed swap, full suspension, ACS Side skirts and rear apron, 16×9 BBS RS rep wheels

So the work started

Parts being worked on

Test fit of plastic bumpers and rear valence that needed a lot of work

prep and primer the parts

The car in primer

Parts painted

And finally, the car is painted as well ! Came out really nice !

Some parts are getting ready to be painted

Hood is getting wet sanded / buffed

Trunk is done

Car is almost complete!

After the New suspension installation –

5 speed swap is in full swing !

New clutch, flywheel, bearing, rear engine main seal

Guys goofing around trying to finish the 5 speed conversion late at night

    Hi carreraboy,
Nice work, I think I’ve seen a few of your cars on ebay. I would like to know how to contact you, I will want a unique car soon. Do you build for sale? I need to figure out if budget is feasible. Thanks in advance

I’m restoring my 89 325i convertible and I love everything you did. 2 question: I got some BBS RS replicas, but they dont look right. They flare out too much. Can you give me the sizes of the BBS RS for the front and the back? Offsets? Looks like they’re staggered. Also, which body kit did you put on your bmw?
